GB San Clemente Competition Team
The 2009 BJJ Competition season has started. There lots of tournaments coming and we are all very excited to participate by watching, coaching, supporting, and of course, competing.
Something very special will make a difference in 2009 and beyond: the Gracie Barra San Clemente Competition Team!
The initiative will establish a training platform that will allow students to prepare even better for the upcoming tournaments. All students 3 stripes and up are welcome to participate on competition classes, but only those that are part of the competition team and, as such, are in compliance with its requirements will be able to represent Gracie Barra in tournaments. 
Our dear student and assistant instructor David Acosta will be the GBSC Competition Team Captain. As such, he will coordinate the team’s activities keeping everyone informed about all activities such as competition classes, conditioning classes, tournaments, and more.
Those interested in being part of the GBSC Competition Team must fill out the Comp Team Form here or at the school. Ask Miss. Angy about it.
GBSC Kids will be part of the competition team too! They have to be White Belt 3 stripes and up and show good behavior through discipline, focus, and commitment.
GBSC Competition Team Requirements:
1. White Belt 3 stripes and Above
2. Alignment with GB Code of Conduct and GB Dojo Etiquette
3. Attendance of at least 70% of the Competition Classes or Conditioning Classes
4. Average attendance of at least 2 classes per week
