Jiu-Jitsu on the 50 yard line

Today (Friday 07/18) at 6:30am Gracie Barra San Clemente visited the Laguna Beach Football Team on their turf.

Coach Johnathan introduced Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu to his Team during the off season to assist them with their edurance and takedowns.
It was great to see how the Team adapted the principals of BJJ into their game by learning how to use leverage rather than strength to overcome their opponent.

During the first half of their training they were in our Dojo, the next 4 weeks will be spent on the gridiron.

Keep up the good work at GB San Clemente. I will be there soon to rejoin the team. I miss you guys. Not only to Football we can apply the principles of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, at this present moment the techniques learned with the GB Family are helping me with my Law Enforcement career, and on my prior career as a U.S. Marine that lasted over 10 years. You guys are my family and I am proud of belong to such group like the Gracie Barra Family
