Homage Prof. Flavio Almeida
Last Sunday Professor Flavio Almeida had a very special surprise from his students. After the Fundamentals Class he was called on the office by his right arm Felip Guedes to watch a video. He did not know it was a homage from all the students and the video comprised some of the best moments of his life as an instructor, competitor, and friend. He was stoked and emotional as most of you will be after watching it.
It’s great to see how you guys are like a family. The short time that he was in NJ was inspirational to say the least. I learned much from him and I’m inspired by his work ethic on/off the mats.
