Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States and the world today. Even though this growth can be partially attributed to the boom of the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), we should never reduce our understanding of this wonderful martial art to a mere ground fighting style used by Mixed Martial Artists.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a way of living that has been influenced thousands of individuals and their families towards a healthier and more balanced life. Ordinary people have achieved extraordinary results by embracing the BJJ Life-Style as a means to improve their focus, discipline, wellness, and confidence, while learning the most effective self-defense system available.

GB San Clemente is meant to be a strong reference as a center for physical education, character development, self-defense, and world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training at the communities of San Clemente, Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano. Our various programs, carefully developed to fit different learning needs, our pioneer sustainability and environmental leadership project, our cheerful and well trained staff, embedded on the family spirit typical of Gracie Barra school make a unique combination of elements that deliver a very special experience for the students.
